Ditch that heavy electric rack for a Manual Steering Rack.

 The Flaming River FR1520 weighs in at just over 11lbs. Less than half the weight of the OEM Honda steering rack. The steering ration is very similar to an AP2 steering Rack. The Electric OEM AP2 steering rack is 14.9:1. While the FR1520 is 15:1.

The Detroit Speed 090221DS Hydraulic Steering rack fits flawlessly. There is no need for a pulley driven pump on the engine. You can run an electric remote power steering pump available from many OEM manufacturers now like Volvo, Toyota, and Mini to name a few. Place that pump anywhere in the car for better weight distribution! 

This rack is mid 12"ish":1 ratio. Much quicker than the CR OR AP1 EPS Rack. This steering rack is just under 16lbs. It will require a pump, the necessary hose and fittings, along with oil. Essentially you can move that extra weight anywhere in the car
